'Homecoming 2' premiers as video testimony. September. 15, 2017 07:45. by Sun-Hee Jang sun10@donga.com. The movie “Homecoming, an Incomplete Story” was released in the theaters on Thursday. As the sequel of “Homecoming," which accumulated a total of 3.85 million audiences since its release in February last year, the new film ended its story by adding behind stories untold due to time constraints in the previous movie, along with video testimonies of comfort women enslaved by the Japanese army by courtesy of House of Sharing.

“I wanted to share the story of comfort women through their voices, as the victims are still alive and nothing has been resolved,” said director Cho Jeong-rae. “While ‘Homecoming’ was a film drama shot to herald the damage done by the Japanese army to comfort women, the recent movie is a video testimony to leave historical evidence.” Cho who premiered his previous work in 61 cities of 10 nations including Japan will also hold public screening nationwide to alarm the issue.
