Visitors wearing hanbok can get a significant discount on performance tickets at main performing arts venues in Seoul. The Seoul city government announced on Tuesday that it would offer discounts to visitors wearing hanbok for 21 performances at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, Seoul Namsan Traditional Theater, Seoul Donhwamun Traditional Theater and Samcheonggak. The event will run from September through November. For performances of which tickets are priced at less than 30,000 won, visitors can get admission tickets at the lowest cost of 1,000 won.

Visit the homepage of designated performing venue and select a menu titled "Discount for visitors wearing hanbok" to buy a ticket at a discounted price. As for performances at Sejong Center, you can purchase a R seat ticket for "Tchaikovsky Ballet Special Gala" at 40,000 won, of which original price is 70,000 won, and an S seat ticket for Creative Dance Play "Romeo & Juliet" by Seoul Metropolitan Dance Theater at just 1,000 won (original price is 30,000 won).

Visitors wearing hanbok can take a proof shot at a photo zone next to the box office at each venue on that day. Employees at the venue will take a picture as a proof of wearing hanbok. Visitors can also receive a discount at the venue without reservation, if they wear hanbok.
