Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington dies at 41
U.S. rock band “Linkin Park” vocalist Chester Bennington was found dead at his house in Los Angeles on Thursday (local time).

The 41-year-old earned his stardom when his band released the first album “Hybrid Theory” in 2000. Linkin Park spearheaded the rap rock and nu metal genres around the world in the early 21st century.

His rough and husky cry with emotional expression‎ clearly stood out in Linkin Park’s songs. Bennington and Linkin Park featured in the original sound track and the theme music of the movie series “Transformers,” and won two Grammy Awards. Linkin Park held their concerts three times in Korea.

With their new album released after three years of break, the band was to go on a tour concert in North America and Asia. It was known that Bennington committed suicide.
