While playing for the LG Twins in the Korean league, Park Byung-Ho was a batter who was more familiar with the secondary league group than the primary group in his team. In the secondary group, he hit a slew of homers, but when he moved to the primary group, he would lose confidence in himself instantly. He only posted a batting average of 0.188 with seven home runs in the 2010 season. However, after being traded to the Nexen Heroes halfway through the 2011 season, he became a completely different player.

　

Park grew to become Korea's flagship slugger at the Nexen Heroes.In 2014 and 2015, he was the first player in the KBO league history to record more than 50 homers each in two consecutive years. There was little change to his technique, and the important thing was opportunities.

Park Byung-ho (31) of the Minnesota Twins, who is in his second year in the U.S. league, reminds fans of his time with LG. He is having the worst season without being given an opportunity.

Park, who currently belongs to Minnesota's Triple-A Rochester, was not given an opportunity to play in a home game against Syracuse (Triple-Aunder the Washington Nationals) on Friday. Considering his recent record, he seems to be almost hopeless. His record at Triple-A for the season is merely 0.188 with three home runs. He has 14 strike outs and no hit in 20 times at bat in the last six games. In the latest 10 games, he has posted a batting average as low as 0.091 (3 hits in 33 times at bat) overall.

In the KBO league, he found a turning point through trade. It remains to be seen how Park Byung-ho will overcome the crisis that he is facing in the U.S.
