Pittsburgh Pirates Kang Jung-ho receives standing ovation

Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Kang Jung-ho was received with wild enthusiasm at his first home game this season. At the PNC Park in Pennsylvania on Tuesday local time, he entered the ground as fourth hitter against the Atlanta Braves, and made one hit in five at bat and an RBI single.

Then he scored when Josh Harrison made a clutch hit. At the fourth inning, Kang made a safe hit to right field with batting average of 0.276 (eight hits in 29 at bats, and four home runs).

The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Atlanta Braves 12-9 and kept second place at National League central with 21 wins and 17 losses.
