Son Heung-min with the Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League garnered one goal and one assist to lead his team to a 2-0 victory at a re-match in the round of 64 strongest teams against Leicester City in the FA Cup, which took place at the King Power Stadium in Lester, the U.K. on Thursday.

The BBC also said that Son demonstrated his powerful shooting capability and it was his best performance for Tottenham. Scoring his fifth goal for the season, Son gave assist for Nacer Chadli’s second goal at 21st minute in the second half.

After the match, Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino expressed his satisfaction by saying that Son Heung-min scored a wonderful goal at a critical moment. Now that he has received the coach’s endorsement, Son needs to continue to lead his stellar performance at the FA Cup to the English Premier League in order to become a starting member of his team. Son will play an away EPL match against Crystal Palace where his fellow Korean Lee Chung-yong is playing on Sunday.
