Oh Seung-hwan has made a scoreless debut in the first game after joining the Colorado Rockies. In the new uniform, the new Rockies right-hander was called in to action on Saturday for the seventh inning. He pitched a scoreless inning allowing one hit and two walks. After the game, Colorado Rockies official Instagram put up a post celebrating a successful debut of Oh in Korean.

There was a moment of crisis as well. The Korean reliever kept first batter Dustin Fowler at bay with a fly ball, but allowed Nick Martini and Matt Chapman one hit and four balls and almost lost a point with runners on first and second and two outs. But Oh remained calm and finished the inning scoreless by giving the two hitters a fly ball. Colorado beat Oakland 4-1.
