“English Premier League Manchester United is interested in signing Son Heung-min. If the deal is signed, it will require at least 70 million euros (about 91.35 billion won),” reported Germany’s Sports1 on Wednesday (Korea time). Sports fans are wondering if Son, after the 2018 Russian World Cup Games, will be able to join the Manchester United, the club Korean football player Park Ji-sung played for.

It is also quite uncertain how committed Liverpool is in attracting Son.” The report hints that the Manchester United is the strongest candidate.

The only variant that Son, who has yet to join the “Big Clubs” after the World Cup Games, faces is military service obligations. The 26-year-old player needs to win a gold medal in the Asian Games to be held in Jakarta –Palembang of Indonesia in August to earn military service exemption needed to continue his professional sports career abroad.
