History might be made in the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics opening February 9. This is because three sisters on the Canadian female moguls skiing team are attempting to sweep the podium. They are Maxime (29), Chloe (27) and Justine Dufour-Lapointe (24).

The Dufour-Lapointe sisters attended the preceding Sochi 2014 Olympics together. The youngest, Justine, won gold, and second Chloe won the silver. It was the third time in history that sisters had shared the podium by winning gold and silver in a single Winter Olympic event. Eldest Maxime placed 12th.

I am dreaming of all three of us sweeping the podium at the PyeongChang Olympics,” Maxime said in a recent interview with NBC.

The sisters, who compete alongside one another at various events and offer each other words of encouragement and advice, share the love of surfing. Last year, when visiting Korea for a competition, the trio enjoyed sightseeing and shopping.
