Calm and courageous, Kim In-kyung claims Marathon Classic title
Korean female golfer Kim In-kyung remained calm after her victory. She had a puzzled look on her face after she demonstrated a last minute spurt on the final day when she raged 8 under par. Behind Kim's second victory this season was her self-collectedness.

Kim won the Marathon Classics in U.S. LPGA Tour held in Highland Meadows Golf Course in Sylvania, Ohio on Sunday local time with 21 under par and 263 hits. The previous day, Kim was behind American golfer Nelly Korda by two hits, but on Monday she reduced it to six hits in nine holes in the first half, and in the final fourth round recorded eight birdies without a bogie, to lift up her second trophy this season. She has recorded six wins since debut in 2007. Thanks to her latest win, Korean players are able to grab wins in the half of 20 tours this season.

After winning ShopRite Classic in June, Kim had been mired in a recession as she failed at the U.S. Open and KPMG Women’s PGA Championships. However, Kim has overcome the sluggishness. With the final four holes remaining in round 4, the game was suspended for a while due to bad weather and Kim still succeeded birdies in the 15 and 16 holes showing a calm posture to end with victory. Getting 240,000 dollars in prize money, Kim said after the game, "I will do my best in my future games to make up for my fans."
