All forms of crying

April is so beautiful that it can be even cruel. We knew it is an extremely beautiful season because we have learned and experienced as such. Then, April is no longer amazing in Korea. We have a reason to give up the joy of appreciating this season.

Flowers are everywhere in spring, presenting picturesque sceneries. These days, cherry blossoms are in full bloom and azalea and royal azalea are budding. Wherever you go, however, you become nostalgic. Flowers bloom without fail every year, but people who passed away in April five years ago can never come back. Since so many young people as beautiful as flowers perished (in the sinking of the Sewol ferry) en masse, people would cry rather than enjoying blossoming flowers in April.

The same magnetic poles push away from each other, but people of likely minds flock together. The mind of crying can better understand the emotion of crying than anything else. For this reason, I am introducing this poem that talks about crying, all different forms of crying in this world.

This young poet tells us that crying is the essence of human-beings with his highly sensitive eyes as an artist. The saddest part of this poem is the closing segment. If you repeatedly recite the expression‎ “people have two eyes to ensure no one will cry alone,” you could think of someone who is crying all alone.

April was cruelly beautiful in the past, but now it is cruelly sad. Looking around to see whether you are crying with your right eye in the company of only your left eye. Reading this sad poem, I would like to be sorrowful together with you.
