“Holding talks with President Trump reminds me of former President Bill Clinton (Hillary Clinton’s husband). The two men make the dialogue partner deeply attracted (to them). At least during the dialogue, they make you feel that ‘I am an important person to this person (Trump or Clinton),’” Gingrich said. “You should keep in mind that President Trump was not a big wig in Manhattan in New York from the beginning, but a middle class man from Queens.” He said Trump would enjoy fast food such as MacDonald’s hamburgers during the campaign, and experienced everything ranging from room cleaning to walking the pet dog while learning hotel management, and widely engaged in business targeting not only the top class but also middle class people.
“One of the things that you should keep in mind about President Trump is that ‘he has been always winning.” Gingrich said. “Even when the video of his lewd remarks went viral in October last year, Trump said ‘I cannot be confident how I will win the race, but I will prevail in any case,” the former congressman recalled. Before the election race started in full swing, Trump told Gingrich, “How much will the campaign cost?” Upon hearing Gingrich say “It will cost 70 million to 80 million dollars,” Trump said, “It is about the price of a (luxury) yacht. But it would be far more fun to do the election campaign than to sail the yacht.” Gingrich frankly wrote in his book, “At that moment, I sensed that Trump will become the Republican candidate and eventually be elected as the President.”
