With just one month to go before U.S. presidential election, Republican candidate Donald Trump (70, photo) is in big trouble to lose his chance after the embarrassing footage, in which conversation about female genitals, attempt on extramarital affair with a married woman were recorded, was leaked.

According to the special report of the Washington Post published on Friday local time, Trump told the host of NBC’s Access Hollywood before recording the show in October 2005 and he said, “When you’re a star, they (women) let you do it. You (I) can do anything. Grab them by the p****. I moved on Nancy, and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and f*** her. She was married.”

About 20 Republican lawmakers released a statement calling on his resignation. “Donald Trump should withdraw and vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence should be our nominee effective immediately,” said Sen. John Thune, the South Dakota Republican and chairman of the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. Armed Services Chairman John McCain also withdrew his endorsement of Trump. House Speaker Paul Ryan, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and other leaders of the party issued a statement criticizing Trump. Mr. Ryan said, “I am sickened by what I heard today.”

Trump apologizes for lewd comments twice via Twitter and a video statement. However, he vowed to stay in race. In the Saturday statement, he said, “Bill Clinton (of Monica Lewinsky scandal) has actually abused women (unlike me). I will never drop out of the race, will never let my supporters down.”

The second Clinton-Trump presidential debate is scheduled on Sunday local time at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Many expect that the debate will be a watershed event of the 2016 presidential election as Trump's lewd remarks and Bill Clinton’s history of being involved with women have been the hottest issues for the debate.
