Britain's Prince George was allowed to stay up for 15 minutes by his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge because he had special guests.

The Daily Mail said on Saturday that Prince George greeted Michelle and Barack Obama in his dressing gown. When the leader of the free world crouched down to shake hands, the prince seemed a little nervous, wearing his nightwear - a pair of blue gingham pyjamas, white dressing gown and a pair of slippers with aeroplanes on. However, he soon returned to what he was on a rocking horse. The horse was given as a gift by the couple when the prince was born.

The Daily Mail said, “Prior to their arrival, George had been playing inside with a soft toy dog, which Michelle and Barack had previously gifted the two-year-old. George stayed up for a few minutes when the President and the First Lady arrived but Charlotte (who is 11 months old) was in bed.”

Prince George’s robe was sold out in an online retailer within minutes after the news was reported. It costs 27 pounds. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, mostly purchases affordable clothes made in the U.K. costing around 20 pounds for the prince. And he started attending a modestly-priced nursery in January.

Prince Philip drove Queen Elizabeth II and Barack and Michelle Obama to lunch for his wife’s 90th birthday at Windsor Castle on Friday. The 94-year-old Duke of Edinburgh picked up the guests who landed on the castle by a helicopter and drove them to lunch. President Obama sat in the passenger seat while the Queen and First Lady settled in the back seat. “I have to say I have never been driven by a Duke of Edinburgh before,” the President remarked, “I can report that it was very smooth riding.”
