John Lennon’s stolen diary found in German police

The stolen diary of John Lennon, a member of “The Beatles,” has been collected in Germany.

According to The Guardian on Monday, the German authority of criminal investigation has arrested a 58-year-old male who obtained the stolen goods taken from Lennon’s private property. The German prosecution explained that the object this man has was stolen from Lennon’s wife, Yoko Ono, in 2006. It has been reported that there is an accomplice besides the arrested individual. The German authority has figured out that the accomplice is currently in Turkey.

The collected goods are told to be Lennon’s diary and several more objects. The articles left by Lennon are extremely popular among collectors. The leather jacket he wore often was auctioned off for 11,700 euros (about 15.21 million won) at an auction in February 2017.

Lennon was one of the icons of popular culture in the 1960s and 1970s, and he wrote various hit songs with Paul McCartney, another member of The Beatles. Lennon was shot and killed by his overly obsessive fan near his house in New York in 1980.
