Top management of SK Group has become Honor Society members on Monday. They include SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, SK Group Vice Chairman Chey Jae-won and SK Chemicals Vice Chairman Chey Chang-won.

SK Group said it signed an agreement in which they would donate 100 million (82,646 U.S. dollars) to the Community Chest of Korea. The Honor Society is a club of people who donate at least 100 million won (82,646 dollars), which is run by the Community Chest of Korea. This made a total of four members of SK Group’s owner family to the Honor Society member list, including Chey SK Networks Chairman Chey Shin-won.

Their decision to join the club appears to reflect the willingness of the owner family who wants to live the philosophy of sharing. It is said that Chey Shin-won, an Honor Society member and member of the leadership committee of the high net worth donors of the United Way Worldwide, suggested their cousins to joining the club.
