LG Electronics has launched Monday a new laptop model “All day Gram” with up to 24 hours of battery life. The new model has a battery that uses a new material and has the capacity of 60Wh, around 1.7 times larger than the previous version (34Wh). Battery life has increased to 24 hours for 13.3-inch, 23 hours for 14-inch, and 22 hours for 15.6-inch version.

The new model also boasts quick charging time, enabling three hours of use after charging a discharged laptop for 20 minutes. However, it has no battery damage, unlike conventional fast charging that draws excessive current.

Although battery capacity has increased by 1.7 times, the model’s weight has remained almost the same. The weight has decreased to 940 grams for 13.3-inch and 970 grams for 14-inch version, while it has increased by 110 grams to 1,090 grams for 15.6-inch version. The new model’s prices range from 1.53 million Korean won (approx. 1,270 U.S. dollars) to 2.45 million won (approx. 2,033 dollars).
