Hotel Shilla President Lee Bu-jin and E-land Group Vice Chairman Park Sung-kyung are listed in this year's "Asia's 50 Power Businesswomen," an annual ranking made by Forbes Asia, an American weekly economy magazine.

Forbes Asia noted on Friday that although Lee resigned from an important position at Samsung C&T Corporation, she is still influential as a leader of Hotel Shilla. Forbes Asia also saw the hotel's major businesses very successful, such as Hotel Shilla's outlet in Changi Airport and duty-free shops in Seoul City.

Forbes Asia also explained why Park was in the list by saying, "She is leading E-land's entry into the Chinese market by planning to open 100 fashion distribution stores in China by 2020." Lee and Park are the only two Koreans who are included in this year's list.
