SK Telecom is actively hiring global human resources specializing in AI to strengthen its AI capacity.

South Korea's biggest wireless services provider announced that it participated in the 2018 Creation and Invention Conference in Seattle, the United States, which was hosted by a Korean-American IT organization Creation and Invention on Saturday (local time). It shared its vision for AI, business status and future research plans with participants and held an employment consulting session.

Creation and Invention is a representative non-profit Korean IT organization in North America founded in 2014. The organization has more than 500 members who work in the IT field, 30 percent of whom work for Amazon and 28 percent for Microsoft.

Kim Yoon, the head of AI center who leads AI businesses and development at SK Telecom, attended the event to find talents.

SK Telecom also opened a hiring booth at the International Machine Learning Conference in Stockholm, Sweden in July. It will participate in the Neural Information Processing Systems, the biggest global machine learning conferment to be held in Montreal, Canada, in December.

“Securing as many talents in the AI field as possible is directly related to SK Telecom’s future growth,” said Kim. “We will do our best in providing support to the best talents so that they would be able to achieve their potentials.”
