SK Chairman Chey Tae-won participates at Beijing Forum

“We now have to make efforts to generate not only economic values but also social values,” SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won said when he participated at the Beijing Forum 2018 on Friday. “We are making efforts to generate social values in three dimensions – inside relations of the corporation, relations between corporation and economic ecosystem.” Mr. Chey introduced “Sociality and Incentive” and “SK Infra-sharing Project,” which compensates social entities that generated social values.

The Beijing Forum, which marked its 15th anniversary, is an international academic forum co-hosted by the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies, established by the SK Group, and Peking University. The theme for this year was “Things that change and that that don’t change: College and civilization during 120 years. Participants include Chinese Education Minister Chen Baosheng, Park In-guk, director-general of the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies and Sung Nak-in, president of Seoul National University.
