Korea’s mobile carrier KT will officially start sales of Huawei’s low-priced smartphone “Be Y Phone 2” from Tuesday. Priced at 396,000 won, the smartphone is a localized version of the Chinese tech giant’s “P10 lite” to fit the domestic mobile communications environment in Korea.

With an affordable price tag, “Be Y Phone 2” targets users in their teens and 20s who consider cost-effectiveness as important. The Korean mobile operator’s launch of the smartphone also comes after the release of Huawei’s P9 Lite under the name “Be Y Phone” in the country in September last year.

The newly released smartphone boasts front and back cameras with enhanced function and larger censors, letting users to take better selfies and clearer photos. The device can also be fast charged by up to 45 percent in just 30 minutes, and is equipped with high-speed fingerprint sensor.
