No new posts have been updated on Acting President Hwang Kyo-ahn’s Facebook for 10 days and Mr. Hwang is known to manage his account by himself. Some observe that not to posting an update may indicate his disappointment on the arrest of ex-president Park Geun-hye.

Mr. Hwang have not posted any updates in his Facebook page until today since he posted a message titled, “We will remember you forever” at 3:00 a.m. on March 24 after his visit to Daejeon National Cemetery on West Sea Defense Day.

This is a contrast to his previous behaviors. Mr. Hwang regularly posted on Facebook in 2 or 3 days and posted every day from March 20 to March mostly on his schedules. Even when he announced that he would not run for presidential race on March 14, he posted a message titled, “The conclusion is to maintain stable state affairs!”

He stopped posting on Facebook staring from the weekend when the prosecution was grappling with seeking an arrest warrant for Park Geun-hye coincidentally. “The acting president remains in silence during meeting recently," an official in the Prime Minister’s Office said. "He might get depressed as the person who appointed him was arrested.”
