U.S. President Donald Trump plans to visit South Korea, Japan and China in early November. An official at South Korea’s presidential office Cheong Wa Dae said on Wednesday that Seoul is having a discussion with Washington over Trump’s visit to Seoul.

Trump reportedly plans to make his first visits to the three Northeast Asian countries on his way to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit to be held in Vietnam on November 10 and 11. A Cheong Wa Dae official also said that South Korean President Moon Jae-in is seeking to hold a summit with Trump during his November 18-22 visit to the United States to attend a United Nations General Assembly meeting.

Separately, Trump on Tuesday made his first mention of the U.N. Security Council’s Resolution 2375 calling for new sanctions on North Korea, saying it is “just another very small step – not a big deal. He said he and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson discussed the sanctions, which he described as “nothing compared to what ultimately will have to happen.”
