'Transformers: The Last Knight' released with some disappointments

It is already the fifth installment of the series but audiences have been showing a strong response. The Transformers series, which had attracted 28 million in Korea with its four series since 2007, had a good start on the first day of release. According to the Korean Film Council on Thursday, “Transformer 5 – The Last Knight” topped the box office with 286,018 tickets sold.

The bottom line is that it is a movie worth watching for those who want to see robots and actions with computer graphics without a big expectation for a plot.

In the new movie, "Optimus Prime," the leader of the Autobots, who claimed himself to be the keeper of human beings, changes suddenly after being brainwashed by the Creator. He has conflicts with human beings while searching for ancient relics on earth to reconstruct Cybertron, the hometown of Transformers. In the course, he fights against his longfriend Bumble Bee. Was it the limit of robotic performance? Optimus Primes changes suddenly and sides with human beings all of a sudden. Michael Bay, the director of the movie, brought 12 writers including Zak Penn, who wrote the scripts of The Avengers, to overcome the limits of the plot, but the storyline is still not tight.

However, it has a lot of things to see. It cost a record of 260 million dollars as it marks the 10th anniversary of the series and is the last installment by Michael Bay who has made the Transformer series. Transformers fight in a wide range of places from Stonehenge to Namibia and even deep in the sea and space. It was released on Wednesday and rated for 12 years old or older.
