U.S. President Donald Trump said he is the Earnest Hemingway of 140 characters (Twitter). He insisted during his presidential campaign, “I’m not going to be doing it very much as president.” Seven out of 10 Americans (69 percent) view negatively about the president’s twitter politics, but the president still loves tweeting. USA Today said on Monday that even though he has a whopping 28 million followers on Twitter, he cannot give up on the “bully pulpit.”

Since he assumed office on Jan. 20, President Trump has tweeted 440 times (not including retweets) for 94 days. He has tweeted an average of 4.68 times per day. "Trump didn't tweet at all on only two days... Twitter is his bully pulpit," USA Today said. "He used as his foreign policy tool."

Trump has been the busiest to tweet on Fridays (74 tweets), following Wednesdays (68 tweets). He was less likely to tweet on Sundays (55 days) than any other day of the week. “He's only slightly less likely to tweet if he's traveling to — or already at — the Southern White House. He tweets an average of 4.43 times per day on the weekends he's at Mar-a-Lago," the newspaper said. "When he's not there, he has sends an average of 5.33 times.”

He tweeted 11 times when he urged a federal appeals court to uphold his temporary travel ban. His tweet "Peaceful protests are a hallmark of our democracy. Even if I don't always agree, I recognize the rights of people to express their views" was most likes and retweets. That tweet received 393,916 likes and 82,535 retweets.
