The Cleveland Cavaliers, which is banking on LeBron James (32), remained atop in the Eastern Conference of the U.S. National Basketball Association by blocking the Toronto Raptors from achieving its seventh consecutive win.

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Atlanta Hawks 102-99, continuing its six-game winning streak. Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook (28) scored 32 points, 13 rebounds, and two assists, and achieved "triple double" in six consecutive games. With this performance, Westbrook has taken a step closer to achieving "seven consecutive game triple double," which was set by Michael Jorden in 1989. The Golden State Warriors, for which Clay Thomson (26) garnered whopping 60 points, his personal record and the most scored in a game in this season, crushed the Indiana Pacers 142-106, and solidified its stature as the lead in the Western Conference.
