Obama-Michelle love story movie to be released in U.S.

A movie about a love story between U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will be released in the U.S on Friday, two months and a half ahead of the U.S. presidential election, pinning hopes it can raise support rate of the Democratic Party.

According to the New Yorker magazine on Sunday, the movie "Southside With You" is one-day long dating story about Obama at age 28 in 1989 as a law school student working as an intern in law firm Sidley Austin LLP when he met 25-year-old Michelle Robinson. Southside is an area in Chicago where the Obama couple had a love affair in 1989.

As Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy walk through the streets having conversation at the movie "Before Sunrise," the Obama couple also wanders down the streets and has romance. They visit a famous art museum and appreciate African-American painter Ernie Barnes' art works and watch Spike Lee's movie "Do the Right Thing." Then they go to a Baskin Robbins store at Hyde Park and have first kiss.

Musician John Legend who participated in the movie production told Reuters that the couple saw together what was going on in Chicago at that time, adding in Chicago now black people and police conflict each other and President Obama is trying to solve this problem.

Tika Sumpter, who starred as Michelle, said the movie is a realistic description of the lovers who stimulate each other and share thoughts. Parker Sawyers who starred as President Obama said he tried to play the president's role in an influential manner.
