Korean-Chinese action film “Bounty Hunters” starring Korean actor Lee Min-ho is receiving heated attention in China.

A news conference for the film at Beijing’s UME International Cineplex on Wednesday was crowded with some 400 journalists and film industry officials, while the film’s preview attracted some 1,000 moviegoers. The action comedy film was critically acclaimed for its brilliant action scenes and comedy performances by Korean and Chinese actors.

The 26-million-dollar-invested movie was directed by Shin Tae-ra, who filmed the hit film “7th Grade Civil Servant,” starring Lee and Chinese actor Wallace Chung. The movie will be released in China on July 1. The date of its arrival at Korean theaters has yet to be determined.
