Hyundai Genesis launches G90 limousine

Hyundai Motor's premium brand Genesis launched its luxury flagship sedan “G90” Tuesday. The G90 limousine is 290 millimeters longer than the regular model, and boasts a majestic design and broader seating space.

Plenty of room for car seats would make the sedan’s passengers feel as if they are flying in first class. Passengers can freely adjust the “First Class VIP seat” simply by pushing a button for entertainment, such as reading a book, watching a video, and taking a rest. In the casing of the central pillars, there are also “magazine pockets” where documents or newspapers can be stored. The seats have been also redesigned to improve stability and comfort.

Particularly, the luxury sedan’s seats can be adjusted in 18 different ways to fit users’ whole body from head, shoulders, waist to legs, so that and passengers do not get tired of sitting in a car for a long time. The G90 features semi-aniline leather upholstered seats, which high-end luxury sedans often use.

The model is also equipped with the “Genesis adaptive control suspension,” which allows the car to keep the same capability and provide the driver with comfort on snow-covered roads or in bad weather. The G90 limousine has only one prestige model, and has a gas mileage of 7.2 kilometers per liter. It is priced at 155.11 million won.

Since launched in October 2015, the Genesis has seen sales of its models such as G70, G80, and G90 (previously named EQ900) steadily grow from 45,000 units in 2016 to 56,000 in 2017, and to 61,000 units last year.
