The National Institute of Korean History said on Tuesday that it has published “The History and the Remains of Kaesong” to mark the 1,100th anniversary of the foundation of the Goryeo Dynasty. The book includes some 320 photos of the remains of Goryeo.

Among the photos are the royal tour by Emperor Sunjong in 1909 and photos taken by Joseon History Compilation Committee, including Manwoldae, Kaesong fortress wall, Namdaemun, Cheomseongdae, the royal tomb of King Wanggeon and King Gongmin, and Sonjukkyo Bridge.
