Samsung's QLED 8K TV, which was launched in September, has received a top score by Germany-based consumer electronics eval‎uator “Video.” The magazine gave a score of 949 points out of a total of 1,030 points to the QLED 8K TV, breaking the former record of 937 points set by the South Korean manufacturer’s 2018 QLED model.

Under an article titled “A New TV Era,” the magazine praised that Samsung’s latest model “opened a new era for TVs through the immersive 8K resolution and technology” and said that even a pixel on the screen is not visible to a naked eye.

Also garnered praise was the TV’s magic screen feature that displays decorative contents and provides various information such as time, weather, and the latest news, when not in use. When it comes to the design aspect, Video also said that the model does not have a single line that is not necessary. The QLED 8K TV comes with the “magic cable” that combines a power cable and different connecting lines.

The German magazine gave three awards to Samsung’s QLED 8K TV: Reference, Innovation, and Highlight. The Reference award is given to the best quality products while the Innovation is awarded to the most innovative products, and the Highlight is granted to products worthy of notice.
