Ryu Hyun-jin, a 31-year-old South Korean pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has come back to the starters’ rotation.

Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts said on Monday that Ryu would be off the disabled list and return for the Thursday game against the San Francisco Giants. Having sustained a groin injury on May 3, Ryu is returning to the big league in 105 days.

Ryu has boasted stable performance in the two rehab games this month. On August 8, he finished five innings without a run against the Reno Aces, a Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The South Korean pitcher threw 71 balls, finding the strike zone 51 times.

Before the injury, he won three games out of six starts, with the ERA standing at 2.12. Ryu will go head-to-head with Derek Holland, a left-handed starting pitcher of San Francisco.
