LG Electronics plans to showcase an upgraded version of LG’s flagship smartphone “V30” with improved artificial intelligence features at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain next month.

According to industry sources on Friday, LG will participate in the MWC with a new version of the V30 instead of coming with a new flagship smartphone. The previous version of the V30 was released in the second half of last year. The 2018 version of the V30 will be featured with several special functions associated with Google’s AI platform “Google Assistant.” The new V30 will have the same camera and audio specifications and design with its previous model.

LG also said that the company will introduce a new budget smartphone “LG X4+” with distinctive functions in Korea and the price will be around 280 U.S. dollars. The LG X4+ will be LG’s first budget smartphone to feature LG’s mobile wallet platform “LG Pay.” The company said HiFi Sound Digital to Analog Converter was added to the phone to capture original sound.

In addition, Finger Touch will allow users to take a selfie or capture a screen image by touching a fingerprint sensor. Front wide-angle camera enables users to fit seven to eight people in one frame without a selfie stick.

The LG X4+ has an aluminum back and comes in two colors of Moroccan blue and lavender violet.
